I attempted to make pomegranate molasses a few days ago to use in a sauce for the delectable Colorado rack of lamb I was going to roast that evening. Well, I obviously boiled it too long because my pomegranate molasses reached a whole new level and became pomegranate hard candy that was so hard only a 7 lb. hammer dropped from six feet above would crack that 7" circle of pomegranate hard candy. But it was a beautiful color.
